A warm up doesn't need to be complicated, it just has to work! Aim for easy-to-perform exercises such as those mentioned below, that you don't have to think too much about. If there is anything that hurts, you can always skip it and move on to the next one.
An easy warm up routine can be as easy as the one here!
Option 1, Beginner 5 Minute Warm Up, Repeat 2x with a 30 second break
1. High Knees - 30 seconds
2. Butt Kickers - 30 seconds
3. Jumping Jacks - 30 seconds
4. Squats - 30 seconds
5. Alternating Lunges - 30 seconds
Option 2, Intermediate 5 Minute Warm Up, Repeat 2x with a 30 second break
1. Shoulder Taps - 30 seconds
2. Plank - 30 seconds
3. Mountain Climbers - 30 seconds
4. Burpees - 30 seconds
5. Jumping Squats - 30 seconds
